Many people like to add some green plants to their home to decorate the room and bring more vitality, which lifts their mood too, but they also feel that although these flowers and plants are nice to look at, caring for them takes too much time and energy. So are there any plants suitable for lazy people to keep at home?

As it happens, my friend Xiaojuan recently renovated her house and wanted to place a few nice-looking plants to decorate it. Because she often travels for work, she does not have much time to care for them. She heard that succulents, which have been hotly discussed online recently, are quite good: their cute appearance looks very adorable and they are relatively easy to grow. She came to ask me how to choose. Many friends must have the same question, so today I will introduce four easy-to-grow succulents.

1. Crassula 'Pagoda Village' (Crasula cv. Pagoda Village)

Crassula 'Pagoda Village' originates from Africa and has a pagoda-like shape. Its purplish-red color is elegant and refined, unusual and beautiful. Placed next to a computer, it can also protect against radiation, and it can also absorb formaldehyde. This succulent is relatively cold-tolerant; as long as the temperature is above zero, it can safely overwinter, and its water needs are not great. Full sun or slight shade; under full sun with a large temperature difference, the color will show a beautiful purplish-red.

2. Tiger Jaws (Faucaria tigrina)

Tiger Jaws has a relatively unique shape, with small spines on the leaf surface and a vivid green color, and it is a little expert at absorbing formaldehyde and radiation. It has very low soil requirements; as long as drainage is good, it is fine. Tiger Jaws likes a dry environment, and misting the leaves is enough; too much water can easily cause rot. Usually give it more sun; sunlight is good for its growth.

3. Frithia pulchra

Frithia pulchra quite likes sunny places and is suitable for placing by a bed or on a balcony. It is relatively drought-tolerant; it is fine not to water it for ten days to half a month, which is very simple. When you see the leaf surface begin to shrivel or the skin wrinkle, you can spray some water on the leaves. Generally, fertilizing once a month is enough.

4. Living Stones (Lithops)

There are many varieties of Living Stones, with different colors and shapes, so there is a lot of choice. Their care is likewise very simple. They like sunlight but cannot tolerate strong light. In spring, autumn and winter, when temperatures are not high, give them direct sunlight so they can use photosynthesis to accumulate nutrients. In summer, when temperatures are generally higher, place them in partial shade, and the leaves will become even more beautiful. Watering does not need to be very frequent either; water thoroughly only after the soil has dried out completely, which is very simple.
