More and more people enjoy growing flowers now, mainly because everyone's living conditions have improved, and quality of life has naturally risen along with it. But many plants that thrive in other people's hands always struggle in your own, especially for beginners, who can pretty much ruin quite a few flowers and plants. Here Science Xingnong shares a few flowers and plants that are relatively easy to grow.

1. Madagascar periwinkle

Many people have probably seen Madagascar periwinkle, but may not know its name. Madagascar periwinkle is very easy to keep alive, and many mothers love growing it. That is because Madagascar periwinkle has bright colors, a long flowering period and is easy to keep alive. Madagascar periwinkle is grown in most parts of our country, and its vitality is extremely tenacious; it can survive even in very poor soil.

2. Mint

As a child, I loved picking some mint grown by the neighbors in summer, then rubbing the mint leaves and putting them on my temples, which felt cool. My older sister would also steep mint leaves in water to drink, and the taste was quite good. Mint is very easy to keep alive, especially from cuttings; it will basically root if you stick it in the ground, and it will keep sprouting again the next year. Planted in a pot, it can fill the pot in a single summer; it is just too easy to keep alive.

3. Moss rose

My home has moss rose every summer. It is not that we plant it every year; rather, the seeds moss rose dropped on its own last year will grow into a new pot again the next spring without any deliberate planting. Moss rose is what we often call purslane flower. The flowers are also very beautiful, especially the double-petaled moss rose, which always gives a feeling of a mini version of a peony, and the flowering period is very long; it blooms all summer long.

4. False cherry

Not many people grow false cherry. It also has another name, coral bean. It is very cute, blooming in spring and bearing fruit in summer; the fruit turns from green to red, and from a distance it looks very nice. As a child I always thought false cherry should be edible, and later I secretly tasted a bit and found it very astringent, very sour, with a strange taste. False cherry is also very easy to grow; if you do a good job of keeping it warm in winter, it will keep sprouting again the next year. If not, and it freezes to death in winter, dig out the cherry seeds, dry them and plant them, and you can grow a pot of small seedlings.

5. Wax begonia

Quite a lot of people grow wax begonia. Wax begonia is also called glass begonia, and it is very easy to get the hang of growing it. Wax begonia has a very long flowering period, brilliant flower colors and compact blooms; it is very beautiful. In addition, wax begonia can survive from cuttings, with a very high survival rate. In normal growing, just pay attention to water and light, and wax begonia will grow very well.

6. Spider plant

I believe there are quite a few friends who grow spider plants, right? The survival rate of spider plants can be said to be very high; even with no growing experience, spider plants can still grow quite well, and their leaves are elegant, looking great whether placed indoors or in a courtyard. Spider plants produce stolons, and when they bloom they grow new clustered plantlets; these new small plantlets develop aerial roots and can be cut off and planted directly to survive.
