Why can the progressive development of rhinitis not be ignored?

Symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose and reduced sense of smell can all appear in rhinitis. Although the symptoms are similar or identical, there are several types of rhinitis, and if rhinitis is not treated in time or is not treated thoroughly, it can easily develop into other types of rhinitis. For example, if the initial rhinitis is not treated and cured in time, it will turn into chronic rhinitis, or it may also cause other deeper and more numerous diseases of the respiratory tract and elsewhere.
In terms of the types of rhinitis alone, there are acute and chronic, allergic, hypertrophic, atrophic, caseous, and allergic simple rhinitis; if drugs are used improperly, drug-induced rhinitis can also occur, and clinically there are also seasonal rhinitis, sinusitis, and vestibulitis of the nose. The latter two are complications of rhinitis. During the onset and progressive development of rhinitis, headache, poor appetite, easy fatigue, memory decline and insomnia can also occur.
Rhinitis
Chronic rhinitis can develop from acute rhinitis that was not treated in time or was not treated thoroughly, and some cases are primary. In terms of symptoms, all present as intermittent or alternating nasal congestion persisting for a long time, which can easily lead to dizziness and mental fog, and even affect sleep, work and life. Viscous purulent nasal discharge also easily occurs, and it often flows backward into the throat, causing cough and phlegm. If rhinitis develops into atrophic rhinitis, block-like and tube-shaped purulent crusts will appear, which are difficult to blow out, and nosebleeds often occur after picking them out.
It is also common for infection of the eustachian tube during the development of rhinitis to turn into otitis media, and cases triggering tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia and the like are not rare; these generally occur in acute rhinitis. The reason rhinitis can trigger pharyngitis, laryngitis, otitis media and the like is that they are internally connected, so during its development it can also easily cause conjunctivitis, dacryocystitis and the like. From this it can be seen that the harmfulness of rhinitis is especially great and must not be ignored.
