What to do when a clivia's leaves grow crooked? Teach you the correct correction methods
1. Adjust the position of the flower pot
If you want it to grow well and keep its leaves from growing crooked, you need to make sure all the leaves receive equal light. But we understand one thing: it is impossible for every part of the leaves to be reached by the light, so we have to adjust it by hand so that all the leaves can receive even light. Basically, adjust it once every week; this way the plant's shape will be maintained fairly well and it will not grow crooked.
2. Shading with aluminum foil
If one side of a leaf is more prominent, you can cover it with aluminum foil. The aluminum foil needs to be opaque; fold it to half the width of the leaf, then secure it with a hair clip or a paper clip.
3. Securing with a paper frame
This is a fairly simple method. First cut off both sides of an unused box, then cut a very long slot in the paper, and afterwards put the leaves into it. If you are worried about damaging the leaves, you can improve it by using string to hang both sides of the paper ends up, so the leaves will not be injured.
4. Foam pad
Cut the foam pad into several small squares, then place one in the middle; afterwards you can combine this with shading, and its leaves will straighten out, but it takes some time.
5. Thick cardboard
If you look from the front, the distance between the leaves of some plants is relatively large, while for other plants the distance between the leaves is relatively small. We can use a piece of thick cardboard to make a sleeve board, then according to the number of leaves, cut a slot to hold the leaves in place. After this treatment, it is especially good if the plant forms a straight line when viewed from the side.
