What to Do When Daisy Leaves Wilt? Causes and Solutions
I. Causes
1. Improper watering
If it has wilted, it may be because it lacks water; first check whether its soil has dried out completely. At the same time, if there is too much water, it is also very prone to wilting, because it needs to breathe, but when there is too much water, the roots cannot breathe, which prevents the leaves from taking up water, and so they wilt.
2. Compacted soil
You also need to check whether its soil is not loose enough; if the soil is not breathable enough, the roots will grow unhealthy, and this is also an important reason for its leaves wilting.
3. Fertilizer burn
If you give it too much fertilizer, fertilizer burn will occur, the roots will be scorched, and if the situation is very serious, the whole plant will die, and the leaves will certainly wilt.
4. Temperature too high
If the temperature is unsuitable for its growth, for example if the temperature is too high, its water will evaporate very quickly, and so it will wilt.
II. Solutions
1. First, if it is caused by a lack of water, you should water it immediately. Second, be careful: although it prefers moist areas, if it is too wet, its roots will easily rot.
2. First, if it is caused by soil that is not loose, you should loosen the soil immediately and add some fertilizer. Second, if the compaction is very severe, simply replace it with a new pot and soil, and mix the fertilizer well.
3. First, if it is caused by too much fertilizer, rinse the soil with water or repot it with fresh soil. Second, in fact, applying fertilizer once every half month is enough for it, because its own need for fertilizer is not very great.
4. First, if the temperature is too high, you should immediately move it to a cool area to help it recover. Second, it can adapt to cold and extreme heat better than ordinary plants, but if the temperature changes too quickly, it will wilt.
