Appreciating a small potted landscape of asparagus fern: asparagus fern scenery in national-art bonsai
Ever since my favorite stone sweet flag at the shop
was forcibly bought by someone, without the bottom tray
I said "not for sale" no fewer than 20 times
Manager Zhou said "no way" no fewer than 30 times
in the end we still compromised
the reason was that she said she had a large stone trough at home
after seeing the photo (not the pig trough seen before)
I felt this big fellow would be more suited to settling down there
After packing it up and taking it away
it left behind an empty pot
and my heart felt empty too
I thought I must do something
Actually, the purple clay pot below was a temporary match
I had never found a suitable one, so I just made do and left it there
I still made up my mind to deal with this big fellow
and did a little creative work with it
During the creative process
I received praise from the famous bonsai designer Manager Zhou
and I was very excited inside
This bonsai contains the following plants
asparagus fern, ivy, Cryptanthus, rabbit's-foot fern, nerve plant
Main accessories: companion stones, an arched bridge, a pair of mandarin ducks
On the market, this kind of bonsai is usually called "combined bonsai"
but we call it "mood bonsai" or "national-art bonsai"
