Through the ages, countless people have loved flowers. Tao Yuanming loved only chrysanthemums, but I love only roses. Those bright red flowers bloom boldly on the branches, their color so rich, so pure, like a burning flame. Hard to believe that beautiful roses would be disliked by anyone. I believe there are countless people with a black thumb who are truly troubled by this. The roses others grow are not only graceful in form but also pure in color, truly astonishing. Now let me share my flower-growing secrets with everyone!

1. Choosing a flower pot

The rose pots sold directly in the market are generally disposable pots, and such pots are not good for the flowers' growth!

The growth of roses requires a lot of nutrients, and they grow quickly too, so you need to choose a dedicated pot for your roses.

2. Applying nutrients

The growth of roses requires a lot of nutrients, and producing bright blooms certainly requires even more nutrition! So you can't be lazy - you must always maintain the nutrients the flowers normally need.

Speaking of nutrients, let me introduce a few simple ones for fellow flower lovers!

The first is soybean residue fertilizer. First, save the soybean residue left over from drinking soy milk, then mix the residue into the flower soil. After it decomposes, the soybean residue fertilizer is ready. Each time you fertilize, add an amount the size of a fist. After fertilizing, remember to water thoroughly so the flowers can absorb the nutrients well!

The second is chicken manure and sheep manure fertilizer. Although these two fertilizers smell a bit stinky, the flowers absolutely love them! If you can't buy them nearby, you can order them online directly. Fertilize every two weeks by sprinkling the manure on the surface of the flower pot, about 3 to 5 cm thick. Likewise, remember to water thoroughly!

3. Pruning the branches

You should know that pruning branches is essential. It allows the flowers to bloom better and absorb nutrients more evenly. Yellow and dead leaves on the branches should be removed promptly, and thin branches and excess foliage should be cut away promptly so the flowers will bloom more and larger. After pruning, the flowers will grow better and better.

4. Growing environment

Beautiful roses grow quickly but are not tolerant of wet conditions. It is recommended to water by spraying to keep the air moist. Each time you see the soil surface in the pot is very dry, it's time to water - one cup of water per watering is enough. Note that during the flowering period the soil dries out faster, so you can never slack off~

5. Beware of borers

The number one enemy of roses is of course bugs. Of course, you can't blame them - who wouldn't love such beautiful roses? But when they threaten the flowers' health, you can't show mercy. When you encounter bugs, be sure to eliminate them as soon as possible. Generally, I remove pests by hand. When the bugs are severe, you can use a specific insecticide - adjust the dosage properly, then eliminate the bugs.

Beautiful, enchanting roses!
