An elderly couple fills their home with flowers of every color, all to attract all kinds of small insects

Visiting an elderly couple who have a backyard full of lotus and some flowers and plants. Since the beginning of spring, flowers have been blooming continuously in the backyard, and after summer arrives it is even more vibrant. These photos are all the work of the elderly woman.
The elderly woman has been retired for many years, and photography has become an important part of her daily life. The backyard garden at home is exactly the place where she practices her craft.
From lotus buds about to bloom, to glorious full bloom, to the ripening of the seed pods, she has captured it all. Here is a selection of some of her works, all taken in her own backyard.
All kinds of small insects also like to visit the little backyard. The small backyard garden brings a lot of joy to the elderly woman's retired life, and it makes both elderly gardeners feel satisfied and comforted at heart.
For the various beautiful butterflies, the couple has also planted some flowers that especially attract butterflies.
Purple coneflower is one of them. Coneflowers are easy to care for and come in abundant varieties. Growing them in a sunny yard is undoubtedly the best choice, and they do not need much upkeep.
Watching the butterflies flutter and dance, it feels as if the yard is full of life. Fragrant flowers, flying insects, everything seems so natural!
The yard also has some lilies, though of course not many. The elderly woman really likes photos that carry all kinds of little lives within them, photos with all sorts of fluttering little butterflies, dragonflies, bees and so on. This really is an enviable life!
In the lotus pond, little fish swim and play in groups. On one side water lilies are grown, and on the other side koi are raised, which can also breed and multiply mosquitoes, achieving multiple benefits at once.
Are some of them fighting over food, or perhaps whispering sweet nothings to each other? In the scorching summer, seeing the fish surface and seeing their big eyes!
There are also chubby frogs, though I do not particularly like this creature. Very lazily it climbs onto the lotus leaf, rolling its round eyes.
