Looking at other people's walls, they're so varied and full of character, yet does your own wall always feel like it's missing something? Hanging photos feels too outdated, and that's when the plants we grow can come in handy. Hanging plants on the wall can be quite beautiful too.

1. Hanging rod

Do you all know about the hanging rod that's so often used? Actually, it can also be used to hang flower pots - using this method to fill your home with spring vitality is a pretty good choice too.

2. Shelf

Don't just use shelves for storing household items or placing books - actually, a suitable shelf can also hold some plants. But when doing this, you must consider safety. The shelf must be firmly secured to the wall, and it's best to fix it onto a solid wall so you don't have to worry about it falling on anyone.

3. Clothes rack

A clothes rack isn't just for hanging clothes - if used to hang flower pots, it's also a very good choice. You can choose some nice-looking hemp rope to secure the flower pot and then hang it on the hook. It can be hung not only in the living room but also on the balcony and other places. The hemp rope must be sturdy!

4. Wooden fence

If you're a plant lover with some ideas, you might as well fix a grid-style wooden fence to the wall. This not only benefits the growth of climbing plants, but also lets you create a plant wall. You can also pair it with some plants to create a fresh and light atmosphere.

5. Wire mesh

Similar in effect to the wooden fence is the grid wire mesh, which is a big hit in the organizing world. The plants hung on the grid should be lighter ones, such as air plants (Tillandsia), succulents, etc. Pairing wire mesh with black, white, and gray planters gives you a proper Scandinavian style.

6. Small cart

There are also several good ways to use vertical space for growing plants. If you have a fear of drilling holes and don't want your walls to be full of pits, then buy some storage racks and small carts. They're so flexible that they can take your plants anywhere, making it easy to change the light intensity and temperature conditions for those delicate plants.

7. Special planters

If you think nailing shelves and wooden fences to the wall is too much trouble, you can choose planters that mount directly on the wall. You don't need a whole wall of plants - a carefully selected planter can create a wall with a story. But you must pay attention to the mounting height and place it somewhere convenient for care.

Of course, not just any plant can be hung directly on the wall. You need to consider the plant's habits and lighting requirements, and try to choose shade-loving plants. Air plants (Tillandsia) are recommended - they don't need soil, just a spritz of water. If you're the type who kills everything you grow, you can also use artificial flowers instead.
