How to grow a money tree well? Master these care tips
1. Light
It likes sunlight and does not like very dark and very damp environments, so it should be placed somewhere that sunlight can reach. The placement of the leaves also has its own technique; usually place the leaves facing the sunlight so that the leaves do not become twisted and each leaf can spread out fully. But also avoid exposure to strong sun, which can cause it to wither and die.
2. Watering
Too little water will stop it from growing, while too much water will cause waterlogging, leading to root rot, so be sure to water on a regular schedule and in the right amount. Basically, watering should be done once every day. In winter, the interval should be five to seven days. In addition to normal watering, every three to five days, sprinkle water on the leaves; using a spray bottle is better. Watering is indispensable, as it can make the leaves grow more beautiful.
3. Fertilizing
This is a fertilizer-loving plant, so you must fertilize it when growing it. Repot once a year; when repotting, one third of the soil should be fertile soil. For fertile soil, you can use collected leaf mold, then mix ordinary soil with soybean cake residue; this kind of soil is very beneficial to it. Fertilizer also has requirements: it must be fully decomposed, otherwise it will burn the leaves. During its growing season, fertilize twice a month. Phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer should be used in a balanced way, which can help it grow healthily.
4. Temperature and humidity
To grow it well, pay attention to temperature and humidity. The environment it prefers is warm, and of course it also needs to stay humid. If the temperature is low or it is especially dry, the leaves will turn yellow, and leaf drop and other problems may also occur, making it very unattractive and easily causing the money tree to die. The most suitable place for it requires a temperature above 15 degrees, so be sure to meet this requirement.
