There are many folk masters of succulent growing, and the tricks they use are methodical and eye-catching. Today, the little gardener introduces flower lovers to one succulent master's clever trick: using pig-farming supplies to grow succulents. However, succulent lovers should remember: although there are many tricks for growing succulents, what matters more is exploring over time; copying them rigidly won't work.

1. Using pig-farming supplies to grow succulents

Pig farmers have one thing they must use, called peanut bran. This stuff is the residue left after peanuts are pressed for oil, used to feed pigs. But the succulent lover says this stuff can be used to grow succulents, and the effect is very good. His succulents coloring up depends entirely on this stuff.

The little gardener has never used this stuff, but since it is peanut residue, its potassium content should be considerable, and it may also contain a certain amount of phosphorus. Using it to grow succulents can not only improve disease resistance but also help succulents color up better. However, the processing is a bit troublesome, and succulent lovers can also directly use organic fertilizer for succulents that supports root growth.

2. Processing method

Only processed peanut bran can be used to grow succulents. First, crush it, the finer the better, and set it aside for later use. Like the thing in the picture below, crush it:

After crushing it, prepare a bottle or jar, then put it into the bottle, add water, but do not fill it up; leave 1/4 of the space to prevent gas expansion from bursting it, then put it in the sun to speed up fermentation. Besides leaving space, you must also open the lid regularly to let air through. Some flower lovers did not pay attention to this point, and the bottle burst while brewing fertilizer, which was both smelly and hard to deal with.

Wait until the water in the bottle turns black, then it is ready to use. It is very simple: dilute with water 30 times, and use this solution to water the succulents. Once a month is enough. It is very good flower fertilizer for succulents. Flower lovers who do not have this stuff can directly use organic nutrient solution specially for succulents, twice a month, and the succulents can also be grown to a good state.

Whether it is peanut bran or other things, succulent lovers' clever tricks are all very suited to their own environment. Succulent lovers must not copy them rigidly. A flower lover summed it up in a jingle that fits very well: "There are really many tricks for growing flowers, the key is to explore through practice; if you copy them rigidly to grow flowers, more will die than live." Do you all agree, flower lovers?
