What flower is the "glittering tears" lupine flower? Finally figured it out
The lupine flower nursery rhyme - I bet hardly anyone hasn't heard it, but as for knowing what flower the lupine flower actually is, there are probably quite a few friends who don't know, and this editor is one of them. I really never knew all along, and even if I'd seen it I wouldn't have known! This editor casually asked a few friends, and none of them knew either - -!
Here's a picture for those friends who don't know, so you can all see what the lupine flower looks like

Night after night, thinking of mother's words
Glittering tears, lupine flower
The stars in the sky don't speak
The child on the ground misses mother
The eyes in the sky blink and blink
Mother's heart, oh, lupine flower
The tea garden back home is full of blooms
Mother's darling is at the far ends of the earth
Night after night, thinking of mother's words
Glittering tears, lupine flower
A sea of lupine flowers
Lupine flower
A sea of lupine flowers
The meaning of the lupine flower
I never knew - it turns out the lupine flower is this beautiful too, blooming around Mother's Day in May
