Whether you keep succulents at home has become a topic of conversation for many people when making friends, and succulents really are very cute and lovable. I also keep a few pots at home, and I have found that keeping succulents alive is very easy, but if you want to grow them especially beautiful, plump and bursting out of the pot, fertilizing becomes very important. I made several kinds of homemade fertilizer myself to grow succulents, and the results were very good, so I will share them with everyone.

I think homemade succulent fertilizer is relatively simple, and also safe. You do not have to worry about pollution and such, which puts your mind at ease, and you can make it with some unused materials from home, so it is also a way to reuse waste. In short, I have fallen in love with growing flowers with homemade fertilizer.

1. Use some items from the kitchen to make homemade succulent fertilizer

Use kitchen materials, such as white sugar, rice vinegar and beer. The method is very simple and easy to learn. Take a small amount of rice vinegar, then mix it with more than 10 times its amount of water, pour the mixed solution into a spray bottle, and spray the rice vinegar solution on the succulent leaves. It helps the succulents grow and take root, and the effect is very good. White sugar and beer can be used in the same way, and they are also very good for succulents.

2. Use spoiled soybeans, peanuts, etc. to make homemade succulent fertilizer

In daily life, it often happens that soybeans, peanuts and the like are not finished and go bad. Throwing them away is a real pity, but at times like this do not throw them away, because using them as flower fertilizer works extremely well. Find a container and put the spoiled beans in it, pour water into the container, but do not fill it too full, put on the lid, and be careful not to screw the lid on too tightly. Put it in the sun to ferment, and once fermentation is complete it can be used as flower fertilizer. You can also put a little orange peel into the fermenting beans to prevent bad smells. Peanuts, melon rinds and so on can all be used in this way to make homemade fertilizer.

3. Use manure and other humus materials to make homemade fertilizer

Animal manure is the best material for making flower fertilizer. It is absolutely natural and pollution-free, and its nutrients are abundant. If you have animal manure, you can put it in one place and let microorganisms decompose it into humus. Once the humus is complete and there is no bad smell, you can crush it and use it as flower fertilizer. If you do not have animal manure, you can use organic nutrient solution, which is fermented from agricultural products. Plants can absorb it directly, the cost is low, and it is safe and pollution-free.
