When growing flowers at home, many plants and flowers will get pests, and sometimes there is just nothing people can do about those plants and flowers. Insecticides don't work either. To address this problem, today the editor has put together some effective homemade insecticides you can make at home.

Essential balm can repel mosquitoes, and besides that it can also be used as an insecticide. Dilute essential balm 600-800 times and spray it on plants as a spray, and it can effectively control aphids, scale insects, red spider mites, moth and butterfly larvae, and so on. First dilute the essential balm with clean water, then spray it onto the leaves with bugs; spray several times and it will kill the insects. Essential balm itself contains water, so if you add too much water, the smell of the essential balm will be too faint and it won't work.

Garlic has a disinfecting and sterilizing effect, and it can also be used as an insecticide. Just crush the garlic into garlic paste, then put it into a container, add some clean water, stir it well and let it sit for a while, then filter out the garlic paste, put the solution into a spray bottle and add a little clean water, then spray it onto the leaves with bugs; the effect is also quite good.

How exactly do you do it? Prepare 200 grams of scallions, chop them up and put them in 10 liters of water to soak for a day and a night, then filter the liquid and use it to spray the affected plants, several times a day, spraying continuously for 5 days. To treat powdery mildew and black spot on roses, take 30 grams of garlic bulbs, mash them and add 500 grams of water, stir well and filter, then take the filtrate and spray the leaf surfaces, once a day, spraying continuously for 3 to 4 times. You can also use a brush or toothbrush to apply the garlic liquid directly onto them. Crushing garlic and sprinkling it in the potting soil can also kill earthworms, ants and nematodes.

Succulents can also get sick and be attacked by insects, such as the common scale insects, aphids, snails and so on, so during normal care you need to do a good job of pest prevention. When succulents are troubled by pests and disease, they can easily die, so gardening friends should really learn the methods of pest prevention. Mix bottled vinegar with water at 5-6 times and spray, spraying once every 3 days, and it can control scale insects. However, there is one detail to note: after wiping, it is best to wipe once with clean water after 6 hours, then put it in a ventilated place and let it dry, to avoid the vinegar being too strong and burning the succulent potted plant.

This is a gathering place for succulent lovers, sharing succulent care tips, welcome to follow and exchange ideas.
