The government has promoted many policies to close the urban-rural gap and advance rural development, including local revitalization and rural regeneration, "but exactly what form should be used to present the next stage of rural character?" Council of Agriculture Minister Lin Tsung-hsien said that continuing to develop rural models is the answer, and that through a series of Gold Award Village campaign activities a complete inventory and momentum can be built. Taiwan's rural development still has many stages to complete.
