Many flower lovers really enjoy keeping a few pots of green plants at home. For one thing, they beautify the home, and for another, they help purify indoor air. However, many friends, whether because of work or simply being lazy, often end up killing their plants. Today I want to share three super drought-tolerant green plants that actually grow better the less you fuss over them.

1. Snake Plant (Sansevieria)

A drought-tolerant and easy-to-grow green plant, it is very suitable for lazy people to care for. Overly diligent people actually fail to grow snake plants well. A generally warm environment suits its growth best. With some proper nutrient solution applied regularly, it can fill its pot in no time. If fertilizer is sufficient, the snake plant can even bloom, and when it does, it can produce a dozen or more flowers with an intense fragrance.

2. Jade Plant (Crassula ovata)

The jade plant is also a very drought-tolerant plant. Its leaves are thick and fleshy, and it only needs plenty of sunlight; as long as there is enough sun, it will grow very well. Grown well, it can even produce white flowers. It is actually a succulent. Normally you do not need to pay it any attention at all. When the potting soil is on the dry side, it actually grows better, so do not water it too frequently.

3. Moss Rose (Portulaca grandiflora)

I remember that in my rural hometown as a child, the most common flower was none other than the moss rose. In an environment with plenty of light, the moss rose very easily fills its pot and blooms. The moss rose is a very drought-tolerant plant; it can thrive even in cracks between stones. Ignore it, and it will actually grow very well.

4. Cactus

The cactus is absolutely the top choice for lazy people's plants. The cactus has very strong adaptability and does not demand much water; even going several weeks without watering is no problem. Cacti love intense sunlight, tolerate high temperatures and drought, have tenacious vitality, and are best kept with minimal, rough management.

5. Air Plant (Tillandsia)

The air plant can be said to be the only green plant on Earth that can live without soil. It can also produce bright flowers, so you can enjoy both its leaves and its blooms. It has a very good decorative effect. You can simply toss it onto a piece of wood or into a container, or hang it up directly with hemp rope, and it will grow. Normally you can mist its leaves with water.

The most important thing in growing these green plants is to water them less. These plants are all fairly drought-tolerant, and once you water them too much, problems very easily arise.
