Wife often pruned the flowers, and 30 days later the whole family was amazed to see them bloom
I have a wife who especially loves growing flowers. The house isn't that big, but as soon as you walk in the door, any little nook or cranny will have a potted flower placed there by my wife. And my wife especially loves to tinker, always ready to give the plants a chop. With this restless wife of mine, there's really nothing I can do, but I never expected that 30 days later the whole family would be stunned.
The rubber plant she beheaded
The rubber plant at home was growing very lushly, but it had one shortcoming: no side branches, it just kept shooting straight up. My wife couldn't stand the sight of it, so she sawed the top right off the rubber plant, splitting a perfectly good rubber plant in two. As a result, 30 days later, the rubber plant that was left with only a stem had already sprouted tender buds, and the severed top was replanted by her into a flowerpot. After all that tinkering, it seems it wasn't a loss after all!
The spider plant whose leaves were cut off
This pot of spider plant at home was growing sparsely, not particularly well, but it was passable to look at. My diligent wife, annoyed that it wasn't growing lushly, cut off all its leaves as if she were cutting weeds, and the spider plant just sat there awkwardly for a month. Unexpectedly, it also sprouted new growth, and grew even more lushly than before.
The Aeonium 'Big Mage' that was beheaded
I really love this aeonium, and it was growing very lushly with a particularly fast growth rate. It had been at home for nearly a year, but its shape wasn't great, falling apart in all directions. My wife couldn't stand the sight of it, so she directly cut off two branches and replanted them into a flowerpot. My heart ached for my big aeonium! Unexpectedly, those two branches also survived and grew very well.
The kalanchoe whose flowering branches were cut off
When this kalanchoe was bought, the flowers were blooming so abundantly you could hardly see the leaves. Later some flowers gradually withered, and my wife heard that cutting off the flowering branches could encourage it to bloom again. As a result, she cut off 90% of the flowering branches, and now it has turned out like this, and no matter how you look at it, it just seems off. I hope the kalanchoe, after being fixed up by my wife, can also bloom a second time!
Having a restless wife at home is quite a handful, but luckily these plants and flowers can take a beating. They survived all eighty-one trials and are still alive. Coming to my home really wasn't easy for them!
