Many flower growers always feel that growing flowers is difficult, and their own plants often end up dead. In fact, for people who grow flowers often, it is not difficult at all; the difficulty lies in not knowing the methods. Today the editor will tell you a four-step flower-growing method. As long as you follow these four methods step by step, even beginners can grow flowers with lush branches and leaves.

1. When transplanting, choose a loose, breathable, good flower soil. This is the first key issue in growing flowers well; the quality of the flower soil directly affects the growth of the flowers. Good flower soil can be found in mountain forests, using the top layer of leaf mold soil with fallen leaves and weeds. If you cannot find it, you can collect dry leaves that fall from trees in your residential compound or along roadsides and take them home. Then use soil from under the trees or old flower soil, find a large flower pot or foam box, spread a layer of soil inside, then a layer of dry leaves, and repeat this process until the flower pot or foam box is full. Finally cover the top with a layer of soil, cover the container with a plastic bag or plastic sheet, and put it in a sunny place. Normally you can open the plastic sheet and pour in some rice-washing water or similar. After three months it becomes excellent flower soil. If you are afraid of the trouble, you can directly buy leaf mold soil.

2. Once you have good flower soil, you can transplant the flowers. When transplanting, first spread a layer of small stones or broken brick pieces on the bottom of the pot. After spreading them, first put in some organic fertilizer, such as cooked soybeans, soybean cake, well-fermented animal manure, etc., and then fill in soil and plant the flowers. But note that the fertilizer put in must not touch the root system; it must be separated by soil. After planting, water thoroughly and place it in a cool, ventilated place with bright light. Be careful not to let direct sunlight hit it, otherwise it is easy for it to dry up, and it also must not be too dark; if it is too dark, the flowers will grow poorly.

3. No matter where the flowers are placed, do not move them around casually. Usually you only need to check every few days whether the soil is dry. If it is dry, water it; if it is not dry, wait another two days. Judging the degree of dryness and moisture is also very simple: test the soil in the pot with your finger. As long as the upper layer of soil is dry to more than one finger deep, it means it is time to water. If the soil is still moist just below the surface, then wait a day or two before watering. Each time you water, do not rush; water slowly so that the water can gradually seep from top to bottom. After watering, basically you do not need to worry about it anymore.

4. In flower care, besides flower soil and watering, you also need to pay attention to the growing environment. For home flower growing, they are generally placed indoors, and you can choose a place indoors with good light, such as a windowsill or balcony. However, flowers grown on a balcony need shading in summer to avoid direct sunlight. In winter, pay attention to freeze protection and keeping warm, and also use methods such as spraying water to increase air humidity. In addition, most flowers need to be repotted about every two years of growth. When repotting, base fertilizer has already been applied in the pot, so there is no need to apply additional fertilizer during growth. So, have you understood all the methods above? In fact, growing flowers is not that difficult. As long as you follow the above four steps, the flowers will all grow very well, and they are easy to manage. Apart from watering, basically you do not need to do anything else, and the flowers will still grow until the pot is overflowing.
