Reasons for withered chrysanthemum leaves and solutions
1. Disease problems
(1) Specific cause: The most likely cause is that the plant has contracted a disease. For this plant, it is relatively prone to a disease called "leaf spot disease". From its name, we can also see that it can cause its leaves to become withered and listless.
(2) Solution: The first thing to do, of course, is to cut off all the leaves that have already been infected, and then dispose of them together. For example, bury them deep or burn them directly. Then spray some medication as a remedy, such as chlorothalonil solution. Control the frequency specifically at once every ten days to half a month, and using it three to five times in total can alleviate the problem. The care and management afterward are also very important. First, ventilation and light exposure, then moderate watering. Of course, from a long-term perspective, you can also choose to plant disease-resistant varieties, which are less likely to become infected.
2. Light problems
(1) Specific cause: If you want the plant to grow healthily, then light is inevitably indispensable. However, if the light is too strong, or the time exposed to light is too long, then the leaves are very likely to become withered.
(2) Solution: Observe the location where the plant is placed, and check whether it is being hit by very strong direct light. If so, provide it with appropriate shade, and it will recover after a period of time.
3. Water problems
(1) Specific cause: Usually we give it too much water, causing water to accumulate in the flower soil, which affects its normal absorption of nutrients and leads to withered leaves.
(2) Solution: The remedy for this situation is, of course, to regulate the amount of water. In addition, choosing soil with good drainage is also extremely important.
