Cymbidium ensifolium 'Mobao': last year it bloomed with a rosy blush, this year we quietly wait for the flowers to open

Red dust on purple paths, slanting sun on evening grass along the Chang'an road, it is the parting one. ----Song dynasty, Liu Yong. Mobao, also known as Purple Dragonfly, originates from Sichuan. The world of red dust rolls on, a riot of colour and dazzle, truly a tangle of flowers that near blinds the eye, yet among the coloured-flower varieties Mobao stands out as a clear stream; the flower lives up to its name, a light scattering of thick ink, elegant charm and drifting fragrance. Recently, the price of four-season orchid coloured flowers has soared; never mind all that. I am posting a few photos of last year's blooms, looking forward to meeting them again this year. That you and I meet is fate, no matter your origins in the past, no matter your current price, no matter the tangled views the world holds of you. I tend you with all my heart; that you do not fail me is, simply, the best
