How to grow a jade plant fast? Master these care methods

Flowers & Gardening 0 views
We just need to grow it according to the requirements in terms of soil, watering, fertilizing, and light. Because this plant is a relatively short plant, some people do not worry about its growth, but some people still hope it can grow quickly. Use loose soil rich in fertilizer, water it appropriately, once every two or three days is enough, fertilize two or three times a month, and also ensure sufficient light. In addition, prune it at the right time.

1. Soil

Its demand for soil is not very high, as long as it is fertile and loose, and of course sandy soil is best.

2. Watering

Watering is a very important matter. When it grows relatively fast, water it once every two or three days, but do not water too much, and of course too little is also not good. On hotter days, control the moisture well, and the ventilation conditions also need to be controlled well, otherwise it easily drops leaves. In winter, we cannot water it often, and we need to control the amount well; relatively dry soil is quite good.

3. Fertilizing

Fertilizing is very important for it. We need to add fertilizer when it is growing; generally applying two or three times a month is normal, and we should apply liquid fertilizer two or three times. If we want to change the soil or transplant it, we also need to add some fertilizer. Generally speaking, we cannot add too much fertilizer, otherwise it will grow leggy. In addition, note that the fertilizer we add needs to be decomposed, and some human and livestock manure can also be given to it.

4. Light

Give it a certain amount of light. In summer, shade it and do not put it directly under the sun. In winter, still put it in a greenhouse or in a place facing the sun. In short, except in summer, we had best put it in a place with relatively sufficient sunlight.

5. Temperature

The temperature it likes is 20°C~30°C, so spring and autumn are relatively good times for it, and during these two periods it also grows especially fast. Generally, if the temperature is higher than 38°C, its growth will be relatively slow, and it may even enter a dormant state. In winter, the temperature still needs to be above 7°C, and it cannot be lower than 5°C. If it is below zero, it is very likely to freeze to death.

6. Pruning

When it is growing, we can moderately prune those branches and leaves that grow relatively fast, and if they are relatively dense, they can also be cut off. Only in this way will it grow relatively evenly.

7. Repotting

Repotting is also a way to make it grow fast. Generally, we need to repot once every two or three years. When repotting, we need to sprinkle some fertilizer or hair at its bottom, and afterward there is no need to fertilize often.
