How do you grow pothos so it produces vines? These methods are very practical

Flowers & Gardening 0 views
Although many people keep pothos at home, most of their plants never grow vines, and that is because your cultivation method is wrong! To grow it, you first need to give it growing conditions above 15°C, along with a slightly moist, well-aerated potting soil environment, and finally you need to apply a flower fertilizer once every half month.

1. Methods:

1. Watering:

Pothos generally needs a large amount of water to maintain its vital signs, so you should water it frequently as a rule. If the potting soil the pothos is in is especially dry, it will easily affect the pothos's ability to grow vines. If you water it often, the pothos will be nourished, which not only keeps the surface of the leaves a vivid green but also lets it grow flower vines full of vitality.

2. Soil:

Growers should never underestimate the role of soil. If a flowering plant lives in suitable soil, its roots will get a very good aerated environment. If the pothos's roots develop and grow well, then the pothos will easily grow vines. When choosing soil for pothos, you can add a suitable amount of fine sandy soil to the soil, or mix in a suitable amount of wood scraps.

3. Temperature:

Pothos really dislikes staying in severe cold weather; it usually likes to grow in an indoor environment that is relatively dry and warm-humid, and when winter comes, do not let the indoor temperature fall below about 15°C, and normally keep the potting soil as moist as possible.

4. Fertilizing:

To boost the pothos's nutrition so it can grow vines, you can fertilize it once about every 15 days. Choose a flower fertilizer suitable for it, and dilute it before applying.

2. Precautions:

A pothos lacking water will look thirsty and dry, so you should normally spray a suitable amount of water on its leaves; this can make the air around it relatively humid, which is very helpful for it to grow vines.
