Whether you're a food lover or someone trying to lose weight, I believe everyone really enjoys eating fruit, but the pits left after eating are usually thrown away. In fact, if you plant them in pots, there will be unexpected results! Today Huahua will introduce to you how to grow fruit from the pits left after eating!

1. Dragon fruit

You can use a mesh bag to wrap the flesh of the dragon fruit, then put it in water and squeeze the mesh bag with your hands so that the flesh and seeds separate smoothly. The flesh will dissolve in the water, and in the end only the black seeds will remain. Then use a paper towel to absorb the water on the seeds, or leave them in the sun to dry for a while, and they are ready for planting.

Fill the prepared pot with soil and water it a little to keep the soil moist, then scatter the seeds on the soil, paying attention to the spacing between the seeds. Then cover it with plastic wrap. You can open it every day to spray water, and after a week you will see its new sprouts. At this point you can remove the plastic wrap!

2. Pineapple

What we need to plant a pineapple is the leafy crown on top that we often throw away, so when buying a pineapple, choose one with an intact leafy crown. Then when cutting, cut off the leafy crown intact, being careful not to cut off any of the flesh.

Then starting from its base, slowly tear off the leaves until the white stem is exposed, and then it can be placed in a hydroponic bottle to take root. Put it in a sunny place, and after a few weeks you will see its roots gradually growing out. Once its roots have grown to a certain extent, it can be transplanted into a flower pot for care!

Because the pineapple has just started growing, watering it twice a week is enough. Gradually it will grow new leaves, and at this point you can fertilize it, but the concentration should be low, not high.

3. Longan

Longan is a treasured fruit. Its benefits are too numerous to count, and it tastes very good, which is why it is deeply loved by people.

We need to wash the leftover seeds clean, without any flesh attached, then soak the seeds in water for a week to promote sprouting. During this period, be sure to change the water frequently, as this can increase the germination rate.

Once the seeds have sprouted, they can be planted in a pot. Keep the planting soil moist, and after a few weeks you will clearly see the young sprouts growing!
