Cats and dogs always damaging your flowers at home? Try this method to stop them

Some gardening enthusiasts report that their plants at home are always being destroyed by the cats and dogs they keep. Cats especially love to sleep in flower pots, squashing all the plants. What should be done about this situation?
Aluminum foil
If you do not mind it affecting the look, aluminum foil is undoubtedly the best way to keep cats away from flower pots. After all, aluminum foil gives off a dazzling glare in the sunlight, and once a cat sees it, it will avoid it one hundred percent of the time.
Plastic film
Wrap a layer of plastic film over the top of the flower pot, but this method is more suitable for winter. Although in summer it can effectively prevent water from evaporating, it is simply too hot and affects the pot's breathability.
Pine cones
In your spare time, you can go outside and pick up some pine cones to bring home. Then toss the pine cones into the flower pot. Perhaps pine cones are uncomfortable to sleep on, or perhaps for some other reason, the cat will absolutely never sleep in the flower pot again.
Insert toothpicks
If you are truly troubled by cats, you can insert some toothpicks into the flower pot. However, this method is rather cruel. After all, the cat is your own, and it would not be good if it accidentally got hurt.
Catnip
We all know that after a cat encounters catnip, it will display a series of strange behaviors, and over time, it probably will not dare to go near the flower pot again.
