People who grow flowers are kind-hearted. Not only do they have feelings for the flowers they raise themselves, but when they see flowers that have been discarded by others, they also feel sorry for them and will take them home and try hard to bring them back to life. That is exactly how Huahua's best friend's dad is. Many of the flowers he raises now were picked up in the past, and he has raised them all to have green leaves and big blooms! Let's see which flowers he has brought back to life!

Bringing a money tree back to life

Money trees are easy to grow, but there are always people who water them too much, causing the money tree to rot at the roots and turn yellow, and in the end it gets thrown away, leaving only a bare trunk. Let's see how Huahua's best friend's dad brought it back to life after taking it home!

1. Cut off the rotten roots

Observe how much the root system has rotted. Find a pair of sharp scissors and cut off the thinner rotten roots. If there is large-area rot at the roots, use a saw to saw off the entire root section directly, exposing fresh trunk.

2. Soak it in carbendazim solution

Put the trunk with the trimmed root system into carbendazim solution, soak for 30 minutes, then take it out and put it in a ventilated, shady place to dry.

3. Soak it in rooting water

You can buy rooting agent, or dissolve white sugar in 10 times its amount of clean water, then put the money tree roots in and soak for 40 minutes, then take them out to dry.

4. Prepare loose, breathable soil

For the soil, you can choose a mix of leaf mold, river sand, garden soil, and pine needle soil. This increases the soil's water permeability and air permeability and can prevent the roots from rotting again.

5. Plant the money tree

First put broken bricks, tiles, or clay pebbles at the bottom of the pot, then spread a layer of soil, put the money tree roots into the soil, then fill the pot with soil, and finally water it thoroughly once.

6. Roots grow in 15-30 days

Put the money tree in a cool, ventilated place and do not let direct sunlight hit it. After the soil dries, water it once with rooting water. After about 15-30 days, new roots will grow and new leaves will sprout, and the money tree will have been brought back to life!

Bringing a pothos back to life

Even if a whole pot of pothos has yellow leaves and is wilting, there is still a chance to bring it back to life. Hurry and take it home and try the method below!

1. Cut it bald in one go

Find a pair of scissors, first wipe them with alcohol, then cut off all the yellowed and wilted branches and leaves, keeping only 1-2 nodes at the bottom so that new leaves can grow out.

2. Put it in a bright place

Put the pothos that has been cut bald in a ventilated, shady place. The light should be sufficient, but do not let direct sunlight hit it at first. Spray water around the pot every day.

3. New leaves grow in 8-15 days

Usually within 15 days, tender leaves will grow, green and full of life. Water again only after the soil dries, and water until water flows out of the drainage holes.

4. Fertilize in time to make the pothos burst out of the pot like crazy

Every half month, water the pothos with some fermented rice water or fruit peel fertilizer liquid, so the pothos grows rapidly and its leaves become big and glossy.

Bringing an asparagus fern back to life

Some people see that all the branches and leaves of an asparagus fern have turned yellow and think it is dead, so they throw it straight into the trash. In fact, there is still a chance to save its life!

1. Trim the root system

After taking the asparagus fern home, first clean off the soil around the roots. If there are rotten roots, cut them off, apply some carbendazim dry powder to the wounds, then put it in a ventilated place to dry for a while.

2. Trim the branches

Cut off the yellowed branches of the asparagus fern. Do not cut it completely bald in one go. Cut at a point 5 cm above the pot surface, as this helps new branches grow.

3. Plant it in a pot

For the soil, you can use a mix of pine needle soil, river sand, peat soil, and so on. After planting the asparagus fern, water it thoroughly, then put it on an indoor north-facing balcony and make sure there is good ventilation.

4. Spray water often

The growth of asparagus fern requires relatively high air humidity. Spraying water around the asparagus fern every day can make new branches and leaves grow faster. Never water too much. When watering, you can add a little vitamin C tablet to make the roots strong and the leaves even more glossy green!

5. After 2 months, the leaves are dense and glossy green

Every month, water the asparagus fern with some fish tank water or add some decomposed chicken manure to make it grow fast and well, with emerald green, dense leaves. After bringing it back to life, the sense of achievement is indescribable!

Bringing pennywort back to life

Gardeners with no experience, as soon as they see pennywort with yellow leaves drooping and looking like it is about to die, throw it into the trash pile. What a pity! Huahua hopes that all discarded pennywort can be picked up by kind-hearted people and brought back to life!

1. Keep the pennywort with a healthy root system

First clean off the soil around the roots and pick out the pennywort with a healthy root system.

2. Cut off the leaves

Cut off the yellowed leaves of the pennywort. The stems do not need to be kept too long, about 2 cm above the roots is enough.

3. Half soil, half water, plant it in a pot

Find a flower pot without drainage holes, put river sand soil into the pot, then plant the pennywort, pour clean water into the pot, and finally just let the water surface be higher than the soil surface.

4. Tender leaves grow in 3-7 days

Put the pennywort in a place with plenty of sunlight and keep the water surface always higher than the soil surface. After about 3-7 days, emerald green new leaves will grow.

5. Bursts out of the pot in 15 days

To make the pennywort burst out of the pot faster, you can water it with some compound fertilizer water. In less than half a month, the pennywort will have filled the flower pot!
