Succulents not growing after months of care? Here's how to get them growing again

Spring is the growing season for succulents. Many plant lovers say their succulents haven't grown and always look sickly, but there's been no loss either. Some succulent enthusiasts even say their succulents haven't grown for over half a year. How can you get them to keep growing and get fatter and fatter?
Sunlight during the growing season is very important for succulents. Let your plants get plenty of exposure. If they face harsh sun, just provide a little shade, such as placing them near a glass window. Plants have a phototropic nature, so while letting them enjoy the sunlight, remember to rotate them every few days to prevent them from leaning to one side.
When a succulent stops growing for a short time, it may be in its dormant period or adjusting period after repotting, but this is only short-term. So we can first learn about the succulent's growth habits and check whether it's in a dormant period. If the succulent is in its adjusting period after repotting, its roots aren't good yet, since it hasn't established roots after repotting. If it's already been repotted and grown for several months and still shows no growth, and you want it to resume growing, we need to repot it and check. It's spring now, which is a great time to repot succulents. After pruning the roots, the succulent will adjust and establish itself quickly.
Generally speaking, succulent potting medium should be replaced every 1 to 2 years, both to loosen the soil and to add fertilizer. Usually the fertilizers we can choose are as follows: use nutrient-rich medium, such as kanuma soil, peat, etc. Peat should not be in too high a proportion in the medium; mixing a small amount into the medium is enough. Sprinkle fertilizer on the surface of the medium (be sure to avoid the roots) and cover with a thin layer of soil. Next is water-soluble fertilizer: dissolve the fertilizer in water (a very small amount), and watering also serves as a light fertilizing.
When potting succulents, use a slightly larger pot so the roots have enough space to grow. A small pot will restrict root growth. If you want your succulents to grow bigger, don't use a small pot. With a well-developed root system, making a succulent grow bigger is easy. It's the growing season for succulents now, and fertile soil helps them grow quickly. Some enthusiasts increase the proportion of gritty soil in the mix, but gritty soil doesn't contain many nutrients, so it's not suitable for small succulent seedlings.
Finally, let's mention why succulents go dormant. This is because they need to adapt to their original living environment, which has formed an annual dormant period and physiological habits. What I want to point out here is that not all succulents have the same dormant period; some are in winter, and some are in summer.
