Plants that survive just by being tossed in water, beautiful and hygienic

When growing potted flowers at home, all kinds of problems always come up. Beginners can easily drown them with too much water, and regular care also requires fertilizing, repotting and so on, which is a lot of hassle. But hydroponic flowers are not nearly so troublesome. Below, I would like to share with you several hydroponic plants that survive just by being tossed in water.
1. Pennywort (Hydrocotyle vulgaris)
Pennywort loves water very much. If grown in soil, it needs watering every day in summer, which is very troublesome. Pennywort does best when grown half in water and half in soil, and the more sun it gets, the more it grows. So in normal care it should be given plenty of light. Propagation is also very simple: just pull off a few stems and put them in water, and it will quickly fill a whole pot.
2. Ivy (Hedera helix)
Ivy is a very useful green plant. Whether hydroponic or soil-grown, it takes root very easily. To move it from soil to water, you only need to wash the roots clean. Of course, you can also just cut a section of stem with aerial roots, stick it in water, and it will root quickly. Keep it in a bright spot and it will grow fast.
3. Peperomia (Peperomia obtusifolia)
Peperomia is super easy to keep alive, and hydroponic growing is also very simple. You just need to add a little LECA (expanded clay pebbles) to the water, and you can add a little nutrient solution from time to time, and it will grow very well. Peperomia prefers a warm, humid and semi-shaded environment. Like ivy, it can be moved to hydroponic growing as long as the roots are washed clean.
4. Celery and scallions
Actually, vegetables can be grown hydroponically too. Common vegetables like celery and scallions can both be grown in water. Put them in a dish or bowl with water, and as long as they get enough sunlight, in about one or two weeks the leaves will grow out from the middle. They make very nice ornamental potted plants and can be kept growing hydroponically the whole time.
Of course, the very common pothos, spider plant, peace lily and others at home are also very suitable for hydroponic growing. In fact, hydroponic plants are very easy to care for; you do not need to water them at all, you just add water when the level drops, and they are also very clean and hygienic, with very high ornamental value.
