Sugar has so many benefits in gardening, I knew far too few of them before

We know that all kinds of things in daily life have remarkable effects on growing flowers, such as vinegar, beer, vitamins and so on. But everyone should know that sugar actually has a magical effect on plants too, let's take a look!
1. Watering flowers
During the plant's growing season, you can choose to water once with sugar water about every 15 days. This not only makes the plant grow vigorously, but also promotes flowering, gives more vivid flower colors and glossy leaves. Make a solution of 500g of clean water to 3g of sugar, and spray the plant with it, but do not spray too many times.
2. Cuttings
When taking cuttings, soak the cuttings in a solution made with white sugar. For herbaceous flowers the sugar ratio is 2%-5%, and for woody flowers 5%-100%. Soak the cuttings to a depth of 2 cm for 24 hours, then take them out and rinse off the sugar on the cuttings with clean water, and they are ready for planting. This can increase the survival rate of the cuttings.
3. Cut flowers
During growth, plants need photosynthesis to produce the sugar that meets their own needs for growing and flowering. But after fresh flowers are cut, because the stems are fairly thin, the sugar they already have cannot meet the needs of the fresh flowers. At this time you can add some sugar to the vase, which can extend the fresh-keeping period of the flowers, or you can prepare a sugar nutrient solution in advance and use it when changing the water, so the flowers can bloom longer and more beautifully!
4. Removing soil nematodes
Sometimes a plant dies for no apparent reason. Turn over the potting soil and you can find the cause of the withering and death; you can see root-knot nematodes in the picture, and you can also check the soil condition normally. You can choose to use sugar to deal with them. Pour a solution of 500g of clean water to 15g of sugar onto the soil surface. The sugar will help beneficial microorganisms and beneficial bacteria multiply, which forms a hostile environment against the nematodes, and the nematodes will be indirectly destroyed.
5. Points to note
For the sugar you can choose white sugar, brown sugar or sucrose. Everyone understands the principle that even good things should not be overused, so when using it you must pay attention to the ratio, otherwise it will cause a certain amount of harm to the plant's growth, and the loss will outweigh the gain.
