My succulent garden - apart from eating, drinking, and using the bathroom, I could spend the whole day here just looking at my succulents
I bought all the pots cheap, some don't breathe well, and two of them are actually rice bowls from my home. I kept pestering my uncle to drill the drainage holes bigger. I counted and there aren't even 100 yet
I sorted out the ones that froze to death in winter and the ones that didn't grow well, repotting them and changing the soil. Mixing the soil really wore me out - I thought I'd need a lot of soil, but in the end I didn't even use half of it
Adding soil with all my might
Then I planted for a whole afternoon. The sun in early March was already this harsh - it tanned my hands to this state. I posted it on Moments asking for sympathy, but instead of looking at my succulents, they all said my hands were too chubby. So exhausting
Even though they got tanned like this, it was still so worth it - after all, they've been working hard to look beautiful for me
Soul
In the morning there's still dew on them, and sunlight is the best beauty filter
All photos were taken with a phone, and no beauty filter was used
To capture the dew, I made myself get up really early this morning
Ebony
But I feel like a lot of succulents didn't get their dew photographed before it dried up
Alba Beauty - it was a beauty when it arrived, and it's been beautiful ever since
Original Carola
Crested Echeveria 'Dongyun' - this was bought for me as an apology because someone didn't come to my wedding
Sedum pachyphyllum - I really love this pot. It got frostbite last time and still has many wounds, but that doesn't stop it from getting more and more beautiful, more and more charming
Echeveria 'Frosty Morn' - grown from a leaf cutting
Echeveria 'Onslow Rose' - it was even more beautiful a few days ago. It got some rain these past two days so the color isn't as pink, but it's still my favorite little fairy
Echeveria 'Allen' - with a particularly distinctive shape
Graptopetalum paraguayense - so pretty
Echeveria 'Mogan' - I never liked it before, but then someone gave me a pot and I found it's actually quite beautiful
Graptopetalum 'Inada Hime' - with a pink center
Echeveria 'Sword Snow' with black edges - lots of pups
Here's a close-up
Crested Echeveria 'Qiluo' - also a gift from a friend
Another close-up
The biggest succulent - I super love it. For my birthday gift I specifically asked for a succulent
Coffee with a Chiyoda-no-Matsu flavor
Would you like a cup
A tiny pansy
Sedum 'Banana Beauty'
Echeveria 'Meixing' variegated - still bearing the marks of making it through winter
Echeveria 'Purple Delight'
Echeveria 'Dark Ice'
The super ethereal Echeveria 'White Moon Shadow'
Just potted up, looking forward to it becoming beautiful
Echeveria 'White Line' - this pot is very distinctive
Echeveria 'Cream Peach' - the leaf edges also got frostbite in winter, but it's still getting more and more beautiful, with the leaf shape getting shorter and shorter
Close-up
Leaf-propagated Sedum adolphi
Echeveria 'Snow Angel'
Echeveria 'Riga' - the blood spots are super beautiful. It fought through summer, going from a green weed to a flower
Echeveria 'Osmanthus Sweetheart' - also full of ethereal charm
A tiny one, very beautiful, I don't remember what it's called anymore
Graptopetalum 'Mikazuki Beauty'
A strangely shaped Sedum 'Thousand Buddha Hands'
Pachyphytum 'Peach Beauty'
Echeveria 'Wax Peony' just repotted - it really has unlimited potential. I always thought I couldn't grow this color, but as long as you give it time, it will show you its beauty
Echeveria 'Purple Pearl' - finally, I hope all my succulents can make it through summer safely. It's okay if they're a bit ugly, being alive is hope
