After the spider plant blooms, we need to control its growing conditions, which can make its flowers bloom better and more vibrantly. In terms of temperature, it needs to be kept within 15°C-25°C; in terms of water, it needs appropriate supplementation; in terms of fertilizer, you can use fertilizer fermented from bone meal and eggshells, once every ten days to half a month; in terms of light, it needs light exposure, but must not be exposed to strong sunlight.

1. The habit characteristics of this plant

First, we need to understand its habits. This way, we can take better care of it when it blooms. Because its place of origin is the African region. Therefore, its demand for heat and moisture is relatively high. Also, it has requirements for flower fertilizer, especially during the flowering period. In addition, there is light; it likes partial shade. However, during the flowering period, light is indispensable.

2. Specific methods

(1) Temperature: If you want the plant to bloom, and to bloom well, then the temperature must be within the most suitable range. For this plant, keeping it at 15 to 25 degrees is enough. If conditions permit, the most suitable range is 20 to 24 degrees. Note that it must not be too high, nor too low.

(2) Water: During the flowering period, sufficient water must be supplied. However, overall, this aspect is not the most important. Because it has fleshy roots, it can store enough water. So, not watering for a short time is fine. However, do not go without watering for a long time. Otherwise, flowering will be affected.

(3) Fertilizer: First, we should reduce the application of fertilizer containing the N element. Otherwise, the color of the plant's flowers will fade, and in severe cases they may even disappear. We can choose fertilizer fermented from bone meal and eggshells. After it has fully fermented, dilute it, and then it can be used. As for the frequency, control it to once every ten days to half a month.

(4) Light: More light exposure during the flowering period is good, but be careful to avoid direct strong light. It is recommended to place it in front of a window, so that it can receive slanted light.
