Marguerite daisy bursting-pot techniques: once you learn them, it will bloom into a ball that everyone admires

After the Spring Festival, temperatures gradually rise, and marguerite daisies in Guangdong have entered their decline phase. At this time in Guangdong, it is no longer recommended to get new seedlings.
The marguerite daisy in my large pot was started from seedlings in November last year. I am rather lazy and put the seedlings directly into a large pot. The advantage of putting seedlings into a large pot is that it simulates ground planting, saving the work of repotting and frequent pinching. The specifications of my pot are: inner diameter 29cm, height 25cm.
After potting, pinch the tips for the first time right away. Just stick a cutting casually into the soil and water it diligently, and a new plant will grow. When taking cuttings, provide shade; they wilt as soon as they are exposed to sun. For the first week, water with plain water only. A large pot does not need frequent watering; water when dry and let it dry between waterings. I water once every few days. After a week, you can start applying a little organic nutrient solution. I use Nidong nutrient solution diluted 1000 times and water with it. Watering when the soil is completely dry is very effective. When the crown spread grows past the pot edge so that the pot is not visible from top to bottom, pinch the tips for the second time. The third pinching is when the first batch of flower buds appears: remove the buds and continue watering with nutrient solution. When the second batch of flower buds appears, start watering with Nidong flower-promoting nutrient solution. This makes it easy to grow a large flower ball. (Note: fellow gardeners need to use a pot as large as mine to use my method.) After flowering, water frequently. For flower promotion, water twice a week; this way it blooms for a longer time. This is the method for a large pot.
The following are small flower balls grown from cuttings taken from large plants that survived and were potted 2 days before the Spring Festival
I forget exactly when I started taking cuttings. If you want to distinguish varieties, use plug trays for cuttings and label the names. Water every day to keep them moist so they root faster. These small flower balls are in small 1-gallon pots, and the large pot is 2 gallons. Because by the Spring Festival it is already the marguerite daisy's flowering period, you cannot use such a large flower pot; if it is too large, even after pinching, what comes out is flower buds and it is harder to form a ball. The method is similar to the above; I only pinched twice and then let it bloom.
