1. Choosing the onion

2. Inducing it to sprout

Put the chosen onion in a relatively humid place that is not too bright, such as under the sink, because such a place is more suitable for it to sprout. Of course, if friends think this is too slow, they can also find a plate, pour in a little water, and place the onion upright in it.

3. Growing roots and repotting

After the little shoots have grown a bit, friends can find a cup about the same size as the onion, fill it about two-thirds with water, then place the onion with its top facing up at the rim of the cup, and after waiting a few days, they will be able to see it grow thin white roots. After it has grown enough roots, friends can plant it in the chosen pot.
