Methods to Improve Soil Fertility and Make Plants Thrive with Lush Foliage

Many flower-growing friends know that soil is the most important thing when growing flowers. Fertile soil can not only boost plant growth but also strengthen plants' immunity. But how should you increase soil fertility? Here are several methods to increase soil fertility!
Earthworms
Earthworms can effectively loosen the soil and also increase its fertility. But never add too many, because too many will make the soil too loose, which is not good for the soil's ability to retain water, so be sure to add an appropriate amount of earthworms. This method is really very simple and convenient.
Composting
Composting means taking the most common household waste, such as leftover fruit peels, vegetable leaves or eggshells, adding a small amount of clean water, and then placing it in a sunny environment. Once the material turns black, mix it evenly with ordinary soil, and this can also increase soil fertility.
Hay
Put hay into the soil, and once the hay decomposes it can increase the organic matter in the soil, thus naturally increasing soil fertility. Placing hay deep in the soil can not only increase soil fertility but also improve the soil's drainage and water retention, thereby helping plants grow better.
Fermented Manure
You cannot put manure directly into the soil, because doing so may directly burn the plant roots and cause harm to the plants. So you must ferment animal manure before adding it to the soil; only then will it increase soil fertility and better promote plant growth.
