What to Do When Baby's Breath Leaves Wilt? First Figure Out the Cause, Then Remedy It
1. Lack of water
This plant needs plenty of water during the seedling stage; only during the flowering period can watering be reduced. So in daily care, keep the soil in a slightly moist state.
2. Too much water damaging the roots
If the potting soil you originally used has poor air permeability and drainage, then once you water too much, it easily causes water accumulation or keeps the plant in moist potting soil for a long time, which will damage its roots, preventing the roots from absorbing water and nutrients normally, and its leaves will gradually wilt. So it is recommended to change the potting soil, and also pay attention when watering daily.
3. Roots damaged when loosening the soil
If the plant's leaves wilt a few days after loosening the soil, then it is possible that you damaged its root hairs when loosening the soil. At this time, move the plant to a semi-shaded spot for care until the plant's leaves gradually return to normal, then place it in the sunlight.
4. Temperature too low
If it is winter, the temperature must be maintained above 10 degrees; if it is below 10 degrees, the plant's leaves will wilt. At this time, be sure not to move the plant directly to a place with too high a temperature; increase the temperature gradually. Otherwise, the plant cannot react in time and is prone to other problems.
5. Too little light
This plant is a light-loving plant, and if it lacks light for a long time, its leaves will also wilt. At this time, we should slowly increase the duration and intensity of light for it to help it recover.
