A Japanese wife invented a no-tidy storage method that keeps the home neat without tidying up

The main cause of a messy living room,
is actually that after coming home,
we casually leave backpacks, hats and clothes
on the sofa and chairs. Without them, the room would be much tidier.
This is what Xiaolu wants to share with you today,
and the Japanese wife's home stays this tidy without tidying up.
The secret is hidden in her entryway. Let's take a look!
On the left side of the door is a recessed entryway cabinet,
and basically all the items she needs when going out are stored in it.
Because of her perfect use of this space,
the interior of the house can stay so clean.
On the wall is a
white storage hook rack that blends into the plain white wall.
The backpack and umbrella used when going out are hung on it.
There are two more hooks higher up for storing hats.
Whether coming home or going out, it is very convenient.
The stroller is placed at the very bottom of the shelf unit,
so it does not get in the way and is well tucked inside.
The shelf unit she uses has adjustable shelf heights,
so the height can be adjusted as needed,
avoiding wasted space.
We usually put masks and gloves in the storage room,
and often, when clothes and shoes are already on
and we are just about to leave,
we realize we forgot them and have to run back home to get them.
But she stores them in the middle layer of the entryway storage shelf,
so they are easy to grab when going out.
Besides masks and gloves, there is also a raincoat.
She uses IKEA's SKUBB unit storage boxes,
which come in different compartment sizes, making them fairly flexible to use.
Below the white fabric storage boxes
is a white storage cabinet.
Inside are rolled-up silk scarves and neck warmers,
as well as all of her daughter's socks, neck warmers and hats.
Because she is the one who helps her daughter put on her socks,
keeping them in the entryway is more convenient.
Next to it is a hanging storage area,
where trench coats are hung,
along with a vacuum cleaner, garment steamer, mop and so on.
The garment steamer is kept in the entryway together with the coats,
so it is much easier to find when needed.
However, there is one thing she really regrets,
which is not installing charging sockets in the entryway.
Now charging the electric bike, vacuum cleaner and such is inconvenient.
On the wall opposite the coats
is a floor-to-ceiling shelf unit,
mainly used to store bags.
In fact, storing bags takes up a lot of space.
If they were put in the wardrobe, there would be even less room for clothes.
Installing a floor-to-ceiling shelf unit on the wall
gives large capacity, saves space and is very convenient.
Unfortunately, this shelf unit is not yet available in China,
so everyone can use other styles of shelf units instead.
Although everything is placed in the entryway,
once the door is closed, everything is hidden away.
Things brought back from outside are all placed in the entryway
and not brought into the living room, reducing and avoiding clutter.
In the living room, only the remote control
and small items such as a duster, nail clippers and ear picks are left,
so she hides them all behind the TV.
Using hooks and small hanging baskets for storage.
As for storing the remote control,
she uses hook-and-loop tape,
which is simple and firm.
Tissues are hung upside down under the tabletop.
This storage method that reduces clutter and also reduces housework,
do you find it desirable?
