Ordinary people need to take medicine for treatment after getting sick, and only then can they recover quickly. In fact, if a potted plant has a problem, just letting it "take" a little tablet can also work quite well. Using it during routine plant care or when problems occur will produce unexpected effects. It is today's star - vitamin B12.

1. Promote rooting

Whether repotting a plant or when a flowering plant is adjusting to its pot, what worries people most is the growth of the plant's root system. Generally speaking, as long as the flowering plant's root system grows strong, it means the plant has survived. So when we take cuttings or repot, dilute vitamin B12 with water and soak the plant in it. This can disinfect and sterilise, and can also promote the growth of plant root cells, letting the plant root quickly.

2. Improve resistance

We usually dilute vitamin B12 with water and use it to water flowers, which can improve the plant's ability to resist bacteria, pests and diseases. Or when we apply foliar fertiliser to flowering plants, we add the vitamin, so that while supplementing the flowering plant's nutrients, it also strengthens the plant's resistance.

3. Glossy leaves

We usually dilute vitamin B12 and spray it on the leaf surface. This can increase the glossiness of the plant's leaves, making them thicker and more glossy. For example, common indoor foliage plants such as clivias (Clivia miniata), Radermachera sinica and Zamioculcas zamiifolia (money tree), and so on, can have more beautiful leaves this way.

This can also speed up chlorophyll synthesis, speed up the plant's photosynthesis, make the plant grow stronger, and make the leaves full of gloss and thick.
