Don't use rice water on your flowers carelessly; these plants thrive and easily fill their pots the more you use it

Everyone who grows flowers knows that rice water is a good thing, and using it to water plants generally makes them shoot up fast, but some flower lovers find that after using rice water on their own plants, they actually get uglier the more they grow, with the potting soil compacting and leaves turning yellow too. What's going on?
Today little sister Bai is going to explain in detail for everyone: rice water is not to be used casually, there are still some rules to follow, and not all flowers are suited to being watered with rice water. Let's take a look at exactly how rice water should be used!
1. Please be sure never to pour freshly rinsed rice water directly into the flowerpot; not only is it useless, it easily causes the potting soil to compact
2. Rice water is on the acidic side, so please do not use rice water to water flowers that like alkaline soil. Varieties such as cactus and ball cactus absolutely must not be watered with rice water
Rice water must be fermented and diluted before use.
Rice water fermentation method:
Put it into a large cola bottle, but not too full, because gas is produced during fermentation and too full can easily explode. To avoid the fermentation smell, you can put in some orange peel to ferment along with it, or add a bit of yogurt to speed up fermentation. After capping the bottle, put it in the sun to bake for more than 15 days. When 2 layers separate, fermentation is basically complete.
How to water flowers with rice water:
It must be diluted. Rice water and clean water must be diluted at a ratio of 1:10 before it can be used to water flowers, and using it once every 15-20 days is enough.
Some common flowers that are relatively well suited to being watered with rice water include: azalea, gardenia, camellia, Chinese rose, pothos and other flowers that like acidic soil. After using it, you will find that gardenia, jasmine and the like have glossy green leaves and bloom especially vigorously, and it can do a very good job of improving the phenomenon of plant leaves turning yellow.
That's all for today's sharing. Flower lovers, next time you use rice water to water your flowers, be sure to pay attention, you must use it after fermentation!
