What should you do when white walls get dirty? Use these tricks to remove stains easily
Many families may use white walls when renovating their homes, so what should you do when the walls get dirty? For example, when children make them dirty, or when ink splashes on them, and so on. You need to learn these following methods for removing stains from white walls.
1. Pen marks (remove with toothpaste)
If someone accidentally draws a few marks on the wall, leaving pen marks, we can use toothpaste to remove the stains. Toothpaste contains surfactants and inorganic powder, which can remove stains such as pen marks.
2. Footprints (use an eraser)
What should you do if there are footprints on the wall? Don't worry, we can use an eraser to clean them. However, when using an eraser to clean, you need to be careful and not press too hard.
3. Glue residue (clean with white vinegar)
Sometimes we stick things on the wall, such as hooks, and they come with glue. When we no longer need them and take them off, glue residue is left on the wall, which is very hard to remove with ordinary methods. We can use white vinegar to clean it. Dip a rag in white vinegar, wet the wall area with glue residue, and wipe it away slowly.
4. Crayon stains (use a hair dryer)
Because crayons are mainly made of wax, they become very soft after being preheated. We can use a hair dryer to heat them, and then wipe them away with a rag. If you want a better result, you can apply a layer of face cream to the rag.
5. Coffee stains, fruit stains (use hydrogen peroxide or 84)
If there are coffee stains or fruit stains on the wall, we need to use hydrogen peroxide, or 84 disinfectant, and we must deal with them promptly, not wait too long.
Use hydrogen peroxide at a concentration of 1%, dip a rag in it and wipe.
6. Mold stains (use bleach)
