Text / Shen Mengxuan (Executive Secretary, Qimei Community College) Zhang Ningying (Academic Affairs Officer, Qimei Community College)

Preface: This article is the second on-site record of the [Qimei Community College Hokkaido Land Stories Lecture Series]. Lihan, who originally worked in ecological education in Taiwan, China, had the opportunity to go to Kuromatsunai Nature School in Hokkaido for a ten-month internship; after the internship ended, she was invited to stay on as a staff member. This public forum is a sharing of her more than two years of work and reflection in Kuromatsunai. The nature school is located in a remote rural area of Hokkaido. This session, titled "Cultivating people capable of surviving," was arranged at Liugui High School, the most remote area of Kaohsiung, China, hoping to invite everyone to explore the meaning and purpose of education. Let us get to know the story of the nature school together!

[Postscript] I hope that in the end, all the question marks can become exclamation marks

In addition to being a speaker, Lihan also participated in two other forums, taking part in the entire [Hokkaido Land Stories Lecture Series]. After returning home, she wrote down her reflections on Facebook, which are shared here as well:
