How to care for pothos in spring? Remember these care tips
1. Light
It is a plant that doesn't need much light. But spring is the most important period for its growth, and at this time we must not let it lack light, otherwise it will not only slow down its growth rate but also make its leaves turn yellow and lifeless.
We cannot give it direct sunlight, otherwise its new leaves will grow very small and their color won't be distinct, and the leaves are also very likely to get scorched. So normally, giving it indirect light is enough. Generally, it's best to place it in indirect light in the morning and evening.
2. Watering
In spring we need to give it plenty of water. Sometimes the water evaporates rather quickly, so we need to replenish it in time. Normally we should spray a little water on its leaves and also add some water to its soil, but note that we can't give too much water, otherwise its roots will rot and its leaves will wither. Once too much water has been given, take timely measures to deal with it, such as ventilating or changing the soil.
3. Fertilizing
Fertilizing is also very important. In spring we roughly need to give it flower fertilizer once every fifteen days, so that it will grow relatively fast. Flower fertilizer on the leaves is also needed, so the leaves won't lack nutrients either. Of course, repotting it in spring is also an essential task, but after repotting we must not fertilize at will, because its roots can't absorb it right away, so a period of rest is needed.
4. Ventilation
Ventilation also has a big effect on it. In spring we'd best place it outdoors for care, because this way the wind speed is relatively high, which is also better for its growth. Generally speaking, if it stays in an unventilated place for a long time, its leaves will turn yellow and their color will be rather dull; in addition, it may also develop black spots.
