Don't throw away a dying flower - one chop to bald and it will explode with growth and no yellow leaves

Recently many flower lovers have been asking Huahua one question: why do my flowers either have large areas of yellow leaves, or drop their leaves, and barely grow any new leaves? Don't worry, today Huahua will teach you a good trick: grab a pair of scissors and chop your yellowing, nearly dead flowers bald, and they will immediately grow like crazy and explode with growth!

Chop a nearly dead pothos once and it will shoot into a green waterfall!

If the branches and leaves of your pothos have all turned yellow, or have all wilted, but the root system has no major problems, then just cut the pothos bald and let it grow new leaves again!

Steps:

1. Find a sharp pair of scissors, and cutting right at the level of the pothos pot, leave only 1-2 growth nodes on the pothos stems and cut off all the rest, not leaving a single bit.

2. Place the bald pothos in a spot indoors with good indirect light. Normally, once you touch the potting soil and it has turned white, water it thoroughly once. You can use a small spray bottle to mist the air around the pothos pot to keep it warm and humid.

3. If you want the pothos to sprout new leaves as quickly as possible, you can cover the pot with plastic wrap, or find a larger plastic bag and cover the whole pothos together with the pot, for an even better warmth and humidity retention effect.

4. In about just 1-2 weeks, new small buds will sprout on the bald pothos stems. At this point, place the pothos in a living room or bedroom indoors with good indirect light, and just make sure to maintain humidity.

5. As long as there is sufficient light, you can normally water the pothos with a bit of fertilizer like rice water or fish tank water, using it about once every 1-2 weeks, which can make the pothos grow more vigorously and quickly explode with growth again!

Chop a nearly dead clivia once and its leaves will be thick and glossy green!

Once a clivia at home is overwatered, the leaf core starts to rot. If not dealt with in time, the rotted part of the leaf core will keep expanding, and in the end the entire clivia will rot away.

What if the clivia only has a rotten core and the leaves haven't rotted?

1. If the clivia only has a rotten core and the leaves haven't rotted, use a sterilized knife to dig out all the rotted part in the center, then use a cotton swab to absorb the liquid, and then use chlorothalonil to drench the roots.

2. Place the clivia in a cool, ventilated place, make sure to keep the potting soil slightly dry, and ensure there is enough indirect light indoors.

3. In about just 1 month, you will see 2 new small leaves grow from the part where the clivia's core rotted. After that, as long as you care for it carefully and give the clivia a bit of fertilizer like sesame seeds or melon seeds, the clivia will grow more and more vigorously!

What if the clivia has both a rotten core and rotten leaves?

1. If both the leaves and the leaf core of the clivia have rotted, use a knife to cut off all the rotted leaves and leaf core, which means cutting the clivia bald.

2. After cutting the clivia bald, be sure to apply some carbendazim powder or potassium permanganate to the wounds to prevent the cuts from becoming infected and rotting again.

3. If you have the conditions, it is best to take the clivia out of its pot, cut off all the old roots, weak roots, rotten roots and so on from the root system, and soak it in a potassium permanganate solution for more than 20 minutes to achieve sterilization and disinfection.

4. Choose loose, breathable nutrient soil and repot the clivia. You can mix a bit of sawdust, sand and so on into the potting soil to ensure good water permeability and breathability.

5. Place the clivia in a cool, ventilated place for care. In about just 1-2 months, you will see new buds sprouting again from the clivia's root system.

6. At this point you can start fertilizing the clivia. Waste oil from the range hood, oil crops like peanuts and melon seeds, all can be used on the clivia, and it will quickly turn the clivia into a cluster of clivias!

Chop a yellowing asparagus fern once and its leaves will be lush green!

Whether it is because the humidity at home is insufficient, or because it has been contaminated by smoke and dust, the asparagus fern's response is just 1 word: yellow! Once the leaves turn yellow, with a little carelessness the whole plant will turn yellow, and at that point the only option is to cut it bald!

Steps:

1. When pruning the asparagus fern, do not cut it off at the base right along the pot. You can start pruning from about 5-7cm on the main stems of the asparagus fern, keeping more sturdy main stems so that the asparagus fern can send out more side branches.

2. After giving the asparagus fern a buzz cut, it cannot be placed in direct sunlight. It is best to place it indoors in a cool, ventilated spot with indirect light for care, such as a north-facing balcony or a ventilated spot in the living room.

3. When the asparagus fern is sprouting new shoots again, ensure relatively high air humidity, and keep the potting soil slightly moist, but absolutely no water should accumulate in the pot, otherwise the roots cannot breathe and will rot!

4. As the asparagus fern keeps growing new leaves, we can mix white sugar and warm water in a 1:100 ratio into a solution and feed the asparagus fern a bit of sugar water. In about 2-3 months, the asparagus fern will be full and flowing again!

Chop a nearly dead spider plant once and its leaves will be 2 fingers wide!

After being battered through a winter, has your spider plant started to droop limply with hanging leaves, and some leaves even have lots of spots? At this point we need a big pair of scissors and to cut the spider plant bald directly!

Steps:

1. Find a sharp pair of scissors, and cut the spider plant 2cm up from the base along the pot, cutting off all the yellowed, wilted spider plant leaves.

2. If you want the spider plant to grow vigorously, you can take the pruned spider plant out of its pot, trim the rotten roots a little, and after the wounds dry, choose loose, breathable nutrient soil and repot it.

3. After repotting, place the spider plant indoors in a cool, ventilated place, and absolutely do not expose it to direct sunlight; water only after you touch the surface of the potting soil and it has turned white, and do not let water accumulate in the pot.

4. In about just 1 month, the spider plant will grow new leaves. At this point, bury a few cooked soybeans into the spider plant pot, or water with a bit of rice water, and both will make the spider plant grow more and more vigorously, with leaves becoming wider and wider!

Chop a nearly dead money tree once and it will sprout new shoots like crazy!

Recently a flower lover asked in the backend, Huahua, why has my money tree's trunk become soft and squeezes out water when pinched? This definitely means it has already rotted, so hurry and cut off the rotted part!

Steps:

1. If the money tree's root system is not damaged and only the trunk is soft and rotting, then find a sterilized saw and saw off all the rotted trunk, until there is no more rotted part on the trunk.

2. Put chlorothalonil solution in a spray bottle and spray it onto the cut surface of the money tree trunk, spraying about once every 7-8 hours. After spraying 2-3 times, place it in a cool, ventilated place to let the wound dry.

3. Place the money tree in a cool, ventilated place, then find a lit candle and keep dripping wax onto the cut surface of the money tree. This not only prevents wound infection, but also prevents water in the trunk from evaporating away.

4. In about just 1 week, you will see new small buds sprout on the money tree trunk, and at this point you can carry out normal care!

5. Place the money tree indoors in a spot with good indirect light, such as a north balcony or the living room, and water about 2-3 times a month. Normally, water only after you touch the potting soil and it has turned white, and the bald money tree will quickly explode with growth again!

Chop a nearly dead pennywort once and its leaves will be as big as a palm!

Once spring arrives and the sun starts to become plentiful, pennywort is once again at the time for exploding with growth. If your pennywort has been sickly all winter, you might as well just cut it back and let it regrow new leaves!

Steps:

1. Find a pair of scissors, and cutting level with the pot along the pennywort, snip once, leaving only 1-2cm above the roots.

2. After cutting the pennywort bald, still treat it with plenty of water and plenty of sun. As long as the root system is undamaged, in about just 3 days the bald pennywort will sprout new shoots!

3. In about 7 days, the pennywort will have more and more leaves. At this point you can mix compound fertilizer into water and water the pennywort directly with it, which can make the pennywort grow more vigorously!

4. In about just 15-20 days, the bald pennywort can explode with growth again!

That's all for today from Huahua.
