Pinch and bury your flowers now, 10 blooms per branch, and they will easily burst into a full pot
Pinch and bury your roses once, and they will bloom wave after wave without end
Some flower lovers grow plenty of rose branches and buds, but in the end very few flowers bloom. That is because many branches and buds will never grow flower buds at all, yet they waste nutrients for nothing. Huahua will teach you to prune them off quickly, so your roses burst into a full pot!
Where are blind buds, and how do you pinch them off?
1. What are blind buds
Blind buds are buds that will not grow flower buds. Blind buds usually grow on the main stem and branches. After growing some leaves, they stop growing, and keeping them wastes the plant's nutrients for nothing.
2. Pinch off the blind buds directly
Once you have identified which one is a blind bud, just pinch it off directly with your hand. It is very simple. After pinching it off, the nutrients will be transported to the other flower buds, making the other flower buds grow large and plump and bloom vigorously!
Where are blind branches, and how do you pinch them off?
1. What are blind branches
Blind branches are those branches that have no bud points, or that grew bud points but then withered. Blind branches cannot grow flower buds, so cut them off quickly. The branch in the picture below has no bud points.
2. Cut off the blind branches
Use scissors to cut off the blind branches. If the blind branches are still fairly tender, you can also pinch them off directly with your hand.
After the blind branches are pruned off, the whole rose plant looks much cleaner. The rose on the left is how it looked before pruning, and the one on the right is after pruning.
Bury a little chicken manure in the soil, and the roses will burst into a full pot
After the blind buds and blind branches are pinched off, in order to make the flower buds grow vigorously, you need to fertilize the roses. Apply fermented chicken manure or cake fertilizer once a month, and the roses will grow vigorously, with 10 flowers on 1 branch. Anyone who sees them will be envious!
Pinch and bury your camellias once, and they will bloom like crazy
Spring has arrived, and many camellias have already finished blooming. Post-bloom pruning of camellias is very important. It can concentrate nutrients to supply the new branches, making the branches thick and strong and the flower buds plump and healthy, easily producing 100 flowers!
Prune camellias like this:
1. Cut off the top 1-2 leaves
After the flowers fade, there will be a flower stalk at the top of the branch. In the picture below, there are 2 leaves on either side of the flower stalk. These 2 leaves are especially close together and look almost as if they grew together. Use scissors to cut off the top 2 leaves.
If the top 2 leaves are staggered, then just cut off 1 of the leaves, as shown in the picture below.
2. Keep 2-3 side branches on each branch
After the top 1-2 leaves are cut off, apical dominance will be broken, which will promote more side branches to sprout. Keeping 2-3 side branches on each branch is enough. More than that will instead compete for nutrients and make the branches grow thin and weak.
3. Keep 2-3 buds on each side branch
If many flower buds grow on the side branches, keeping them all will disperse the nutrients, ultimately causing all the flower buds to grow small. Pinch off the buds at the bottom and keep only the upper 2-3 buds on the side branch.
Bury a little bone residue in the soil, and the camellias will burst into a full pot
Only with sufficient nutrients can camellias bloom with large flowers and vivid colors. The bones left over from meals at home are rich in nutrients such as calcium and phosphorus. Crush them into bone residue and bury them in the soil, and the camellias will find it hard not to burst into a full pot!
Pinch and bury your jasmine once, and 10 flowers will bloom on 1 branch
Spring is the growing season for jasmine. If you want jasmine to bloom vigorously, be sure not to forget pruning. Do not be reluctant to cut. The harder you prune, the more luxuriantly it blooms! Come quickly and see how Huahua prunes!
Prune jasmine like this:
1. Pinch off the old leaves
First, pinch off the old leaves on the branches. This can reduce nutrient consumption and allow more new buds to sprout. Be careful not to damage the new buds and new leaves when pinching.
2. Cut off old, diseased, and weak branches
Jasmine blooms on new branches. In March, promptly cut off diseased branches, weak branches, and overly old branches to reduce nutrient consumption, promote new branch growth, and grow more flower buds!
3. Pinch the tips in time
When the new branches have grown fairly sturdy and have reached a length of 10 cm, pinch the tips by removing the top 2 leaves to promote more side branches to sprout and make the plant shape fuller!
Bury a little compound fertilizer in the soil, and the jasmine will bloom 100 flowers
Once the jasmine pruning is done, fertilize it promptly. Every half month, bury 5 granules of compound fertilizer in the pot, or water with a little fermented rice water, so the jasmine grows more and more vigorously and blooms abundantly and large!
Flower lovers who have not yet pruned their flowers,
do not be lazy anymore!
If you think Huahua's method is useful,
then quickly share it with others to take a look!
