Grow these flowers on your balcony, open the window to a burst of fragrance and even get rid of odors
Gardenia
Gardenia leaves are glossy and green all year round. When the flowering season comes, it is not only pleasing to the eye, but the scent is especially pleasant, far better than air freshener!
Care tips:
1. Gardenia likes a fairly humid environment, but too much watering easily causes root rot, so usually spray water on the leaves and around the pot more often.
2. If you want gardenia leaves not to turn yellow, remember that gardenia is an acid-loving flower. Usually you can mix beer with water at 50 times dilution and pour it into the soil, and the gardenia leaves will turn emerald green.
Geranium
Although geraniums are very cheap, they bloom beautifully and have a fragrant scent, suitable for placing in the living room or on the balcony.
Care tips:
1. Geranium is a flower that fairly fears waterlogging. When repotting, you can mix some sand into the soil to increase drainage. When watering normally, also take care that there is no standing water.
2. Geraniums grown by many flower lovers can survive winter, but cannot get through summer. That is because geraniums fear heat and fear strong sun. In summer they should be placed in a relatively cool spot at home, and must never be exposed to harsh sun.
Jasmine
Jasmine's fragrance is very pleasant, and the flowers can also be picked to eat or brewed as tea, with a taste that is also very fresh and refreshing.
Care tips:
1. Jasmine fairly likes fertilizer. When watering, you can mix in some fermented rice water, using it 2~3 times each month, and the jasmine will grow very well.
2. Jasmine likes moisture. Normally the soil should be kept moist, and each watering should soak through, but there must not be standing water, otherwise the roots will rot too.
Miniature rose
The miniature rose's plant size is especially suitable for growing at home. The flowers come in many colors, and when it blooms it also has a faint fragrance.
Care tips:
1. Like other rose varieties, miniature roses also need regular pruning for the plant shape to look good. But generally only light pruning is needed; after flowering, prune the branches that have bloomed, cutting off about 1/3 of the whole.
2. Roses also very much like fertilizer. Potted roses must use fermented fertilizer. You can ferment some soybean organic fertilizer and apply it to the roses after flowering, which can supplement nutrients and provide growth momentum.
Mint
Mint smells very good, with a faint mint aroma, and has the effect of refreshing and waking you up. When cooking normally, you can also pick a leaf to use as seasoning~
Care tips:
1. Mint very much likes sunlight. Normally it is best to place it in the spot at home with the best sunlight, and let it get enough sun every day, so the mint will not turn yellow or wilt.
2. Mint likes moisture. If you cannot get the watering amount right, you can directly put it in water for hydroponics, which is not only less trouble, but also looks better.
That is all for the introduction of these few fragrant flowers.
Put a pot at home, fresh and pleasing to the eye!
