How do you grow a peace lily so it blooms? Master these care tips
1. Light
We need to get the light right, as this affects its blooming. If its light is very dim, its growth will run into problems, which makes it very hard for its flowers to open, so we should give it plenty of light; of course, the light must not be too strong either, otherwise its leaves will turn yellow.
2. Repotting
Because it grows relatively fast, after just one or two years it will fill its pot; if the leaves are too crowded, blooming will be very difficult, so we had best repot it often, and only then can it grow relatively fast and bloom relatively abundantly. And after repotting, we need to put it in a place without direct sun.
3. Temperature
We cannot put it in a low-temperature place, because what it likes is high temperatures, and only then is blooming easy. Otherwise, its blooming will run into problems.
4. Water
Watering affects blooming, because a dry environment affects its blooming, so we should give it plenty of water and keep it in a moist state; only then can it bloom normally.
5. Fertilizing
Fertilizing also affects its blooming; if you do not fertilize, its flowers will not bloom well, so we need to apply a certain amount of fertilizer between May and September; only then can it grow its own flowers.
6. Hormones
Those who have the means can use hormones to induce it to bloom. After induction before the flowering period, its flowers will bloom abundantly and beautifully.
7. Soil
Soil also affects it; with soil that drains relatively well and contains plenty of nutrients, its flowers will bloom very well.
