How to make your own pothos nutrient solution? Easy to do at home

Flowers & Gardening 0 views
Many people like to grow pothos by hydroponics, but most people think that just growing it in water is enough. In fact, only with sufficient nutrients can pothos grow more beautifully. So can the nutrient solution be made at home?

1. Method One:

1. First prepare a water basin or another container, and find a place where you can dig up soil. Usually choose a forest, because forests have more fallen leaves that form leaf mold, which contains more nutrients.

2. Prepare a shovel, dig up soil 10 cm deep from the ground, and put the clumps of soil into the basin. Generally, the more soil the better.

3. Take the basin with the soil home, put it under the faucet, fill it with water, then find a wooden stick and stir it in the basin with the stick for 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Then let the basin and the muddy water in it sit naturally.

5. Wait until the muddy water begins to separate into layers and becomes clear, then pour out the clear liquid on top. This liquid can be used as a nutrient solution for hydroponics.

2. Method Two:

You can buy calcium tablets directly at a pharmacy, crush the calcium tablets into powder, and pour it into the water for hydroponics. One tablet each time is enough, because the substances contained in it can also be absorbed by the plant, so we can use it with confidence.

3. Method Three:

You can prepare 1 liter of water, then accurately weigh out 0.22 grams of ammonium phosphate, 1.05 grams of potassium nitrate, 0.16 grams of ammonium sulfate, and 0.16 grams of ferrous sulfate, and finally mix in 0.01 grams of ferrous sulfate. After stirring them evenly, it can be used as a nutrient solution. Although this method is relatively complicated and any solute must be weighed accurately, the effect is also the best. Flower lovers who are not afraid of trouble can use this method.
