Seeing green bayberry fruits hanging all over the branches, Zhang Yuansong instructed the heads of the relevant departments accompanying him to guide the fruit growers in managing fruit quality, make good plans for bayberry sales, and ensure that bayberry growers both increase production and increase income. After learning in detail about the progress of the project construction and the difficulties that existed, Zhang Yuansong required that, on the premise of ensuring road safety and quality, the construction progress of the sightseeing road be accelerated to ensure it could be put into use before the bayberry festival.

  Afterwards, Zhang Yuansong and his party came to the cold-chain logistics point of the Houshanxi Fruit Tree Farm and successively went deep into SF Express Logistics Company and the Xiaxiang Ecological Bayberry Planting Professional Cooperative for inspection. SF Express Logistics carried nearly 30,000 kilograms of bayberries last year, and this year it set up the Jingzhou Bayberry Project Team to escort the bayberries. In the packaging stage, from bayberry selection, basket filling, placing biological ice packs, and vacuum operations, SF Express assigned dedicated staff to follow up and ensure the quality of the bayberries. In the transportation stage, 11 cold-chain vehicles have been reserved, and aviation resources have been coordinated, with dedicated aircraft transport ensuring the timeliness of express deliveries.

  During the inspection, Zhang Yuansong stressed that brand and quality are vitality, and to ensure the "freshness and deliciousness" of bayberries, it is necessary to improve the level of bayberry cold selection, cold storage and cold-chain transportation, and go all out to shorten the time from branch to tongue, so that citizens within the province can taste Jingzhou bayberries picked fresh from the trees in the morning, thereby capturing more markets within the province.

  Zhang Yuansong and his party inspected on site the preparations for the main venue of the bayberry festival as well as the construction of the e-commerce platform and the preparations for online bayberry festival sales. At present, the online bayberry festival undertaken by Jingzhou County together with China Agricultural Information Network and Hunan Radio Station has basically been fully prepared, 31 bayberry supply and marketing enterprises have already settled on the platform, and cooperation agreements have been signed with dozens of e-commerce companies such as JD.com, Taobao and Happy Buy.

  Zhang Yuansong gave high affirmation to the construction of the e-commerce platform in Jingzhou County.
