The grapes abundantly grown at Gaoshi Estate never use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The organic fertilizer supplied to the grapes includes grass meal, corn, soybean meal, fresh fish meal, grape seeds, and fermented milk; pest and disease control uses biological, plant, mineral and physical methods. Many visitors hear about "ice wine" for the first time. Good wine is grown, not made. Ms. Wang Hong, the person in charge of the estate's winemaking business, introduced that ice wine is brewed in the cold winter at minus 8 degrees Celsius using frozen grapes, and its taste is mellow and sweet. Natural freezing preserves the spirit of the grapes, which transforms into a golden nectar.

The correct steps for tasting ice wine: observing the color is the first step in tasting ice wine. Pour 1/5 of ice wine into a goblet, place the glass under bright light, and observe the wine's transparency and clarity. Good-quality wine has a shiny surface and a golden color; smelling the aroma is the second step in tasting ice wine. First tilt the glass at a 45-degree angle in front of your nose and smell its aroma while it is still, then gently swirl the glass, take a deep breath, and smell its fragrance, which has a refreshing fruity scent; only then comes tasting. Take a gentle sip, awaken your taste buds, and you will experience the aromas of various fruits and the fragrance of the wine.

Ice wine originated in Germany and is popular in Canada. Gaoshi Estate was built in 2007, and the owner carefully developed and brewed wine, launching premium ice wine. Besides ice wine, grape juice is also a treasure of the estate. Interestingly, during the interview, Gao's little grandson ran over wanting to drink grape juice. Ms. Wang Hong happily introduced that in order to brew pure natural grape juice suitable for children for her son, her husband carefully developed a grape juice filled with deep father-son affection.
Besides tourism and leisure, the estate has also carefully designed an e-commerce industrial park for local farmers and university students to find employment and start businesses, joining hands with China Agricultural Information Network to build e-commerce channels and promote and market grape products.
