4. Denghai 605

Denghai 605 is a corn hybrid with independent intellectual property rights bred by Shandong Denghai Seeds Co., Ltd. Xundan 20 is a corn hybrid bred by the Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Xun County, Henan Province. This variety has a plant height of 242 cm, an ear height of 106 cm, and 20 leaves on the mature plant. It takes 97 days from emergence to maturity, 3 days earlier than Nongda 108, and requires an effective accumulated temperature of 2450°C.

Yield performance: From 2001 to 2002, it participated in the Huang-Huai-Hai summer corn group variety regional trial, with a two-year average yield of 612.7 kg per mu, an increase of 9.19% over Nongda 108; in the 2002 production trial, the average yield was 588.9 kg per mu.
