1. Grafting propagation
Red maple grafting generally uses two-year-old green maple (Acer palmatum) as rootstock, and grafting in spring from February to April is suitable. If the current-year green maple has already reached more than 50 cm in height and about 0.5-0.8 cm in ground diameter, it can also be grafted in the same year's autumn.
