I. Work Objectives
Steadily develop pig production, vigorously develop poultry production, make breakthroughs in cattle and sheep production, actively develop specialty farming, strive to increase cattle and sheep inventory by 3%, increase the proportion of large-scale livestock and poultry farming by 3%, and increase the resource utilization rate of manure from large-scale farms by 10%, and ensure that no regional major animal epidemics or livestock product safety incidents occur.
II. Work Measures
(1) Accelerate transformation and upgrading, and vigorously develop standardized and large-scale farming
Continue to carry out the “four-level joint creation” activity, actively advance the development of key links such as barn design, automatic feeding, environmental control, and disease prevention and control toward intelligence, automation, and refinement, advance farming enterprises toward intensification, organization, quality and efficiency, and green circular development, and strive to create 15 new city-level and above standardized livestock and poultry farming demonstration farms throughout the year. Take “grain to feed” as a breakthrough, plant high-quality forage such as corn, alfalfa, ryegrass, and Juncao according to local conditions using barren hills, barren slopes, and hilly lands, and strive to reach a forage planting area of 50,000 mu. Develop and utilize forage and feed resources, use treatment technologies such as silage, ammoniation, and micro-storage to convert agricultural and sideline product straw on a large scale, and promote the circular development of agriculture and animal husbandry.
